About Ronnie L. Rice

Ronnie L. Rice, M.A., PHR, sHRBP, ATM-B, Author, hails from the Chicagoland area and relocated to the Carolinas in 1998. In 2002, after separating from his company, Ronnie decided it was time to embark on his dream by starting his own company. He named it R² (pronounced R square) Enterprises, LLC. The company provides educational services in the areas of learning enrichment coaching, motivational speaking, HR (DE&I) strategies, and leadership training. Ronnie’s professional background includes Computer Support, Training & Development, Sales, Marketing, and ten years as a Human Resources Professional in the automotive industry.

Ronnie holds a Master of Arts Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University’s George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Workforce, Education and Development from Southern Illinois University. Ronnie began his initial college education by attending the College of Lake County, located in Grayslake, Illinois as well as received an Accredited Certificate in Computer Technology from Control Data Institute, Milwaukee, WI. Ronnie achieved Able Toastmaster-Bronze (ATM-B) certification level from the prestigious Toastmasters International® and recognition for his numerous achievements and awards featured in: The Greenville News, The Greenville Journal, Spartanburg Herald-Journal, Chicago Sun-Times, The Waukegan News-Sun, The Hampton County Guardian newspaper, Your Carolina television show and even radio for his business ventures. He has written a book entitled, When Phoenix Rise: Life lessons for effective leadership, ©2018. In addition, in 2022 Ronnie experienced the privilege of moderating BMW’s Purchasing and Supplier, Network Americas, Supplier Day 2022 to over 600 attendees including, the Governor of S.C.

Ronnie confesses he is inspired by helping motivate diverse audiences achieve their career or personal life goals and says he is most proud of the feedback he receives from individuals who share how he helped make a positive difference in their lives. He enjoys sharing his cornerstones of success formula as commitment, setting measurable goals, having a vision, structure, self-discipline, self-confidence, and the hunger to change.

Ronnie resides in the Upstate of South Carolina with his wife, and along with spending time with their grandchildren, enjoys the benefits and pleasures that come with being empty nesters. Ronnie’s philosophy to America’s future leaders is, MAKE FOOTSTEPS, DON’T FOLLOW THEM!
